Submission Terms & Earnings Rules

Contributor eligibility, review procedures and revenue accounting

Publisher: Vyrio Media Inc. (operating the Daily Clip Countdown brand) | Version: DCC-2026-10-19-v1.1 | Effective upon authorized publication and fresh affirmative acceptance. Supersedes v1.0 only following publication and acceptance, subject to existing contributor rights.

1. Service, hierarchy and submission status

Daily Clip Countdown is a media and entertainment brand operated by Vyrio Media Inc. These Submission Terms & Earnings Rules govern use of the contributor portal and the optional contingent contributor earnings program. Every uploaded Original Clip requires separate affirmative acceptance of the Contributor Footage Licence Agreement, the present Terms and an acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy. If a discrepancy exists concerning copyright grant, the Licence Agreement controls; concerning earnings allocation, these Terms control; privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy subject to law. Upload receipt does not constitute acceptance for editorial use, a promise to publish, or any monetization guarantee.

2. Eligibility and required information

Contributors must be at least 18, legally competent, eligible to contract, truthful about actual country of residence, and the copyright owner who personally filmed the footage or a person demonstrably empowered through enforceable documentation to license the footage for perpetual worldwide commercial redistribution and platform sublicensing. Publishers, curators and reposters without complete rights are ineligible. Required information may include legal name, validated email, country, original recording details and location, title/description, original master file, source URL where previously published, attribution preference, rights declaration, co-owners, relevant music and person/location releases, existing restrictions, tax/residence verification and eventual payout verification. Original unwatermarked camera/source files may be requested. Only submit content you have the lawful authority to provide.

3. Submission process; acceptance evidence

Access is through authenticated email verification or equivalently secure access control, with safeguards against automation and duplicate accounts. All contract, ownership, tier-multiplier, five-year duration, tier-adjusted cap, privacy, and revenue sharing controls must initially be unchecked and individually affirmatively selected as applicable. The portal shall record contributor identifier, timestamp, legal-document versions and immutable hashes, proportional contribution calculation, verified rank at the applicable earning event, uploaded-file SHA-256, ownership declaration, supporting evidence, submission ID, review and takedown actions, and receipt. Marketing consent is separate and optional. Uploaded files remain quarantined pending malware scanning and moderator rights review. Status labels may include RECEIVED, RIGHTS_REVIEW, APPROVED_FOR_USE, REJECTED, TAKEDOWN_REVIEW and CLOSED.

4. Originality, authenticity and protected third-party material

Filmed ownership or documented full commercial authority is mandatory. Music in a recorded video, background TV, artwork, sports broadcasts, visible persons, child participants and location restrictions can require additional licences/releases; obtaining permission from the subject of a video does not automatically grant copyright. Disclose any AI-generated, reconstructed or significantly altered element; synthetic video must never be offered as authentic filmed footage. Publisher may demand proofs at any time; failure to supply sufficient proof by a reasonable deadline permits rejection, removal from all Publisher-controlled services, demonetization, account suspension and the rights-enforcement actions set out in the Licence Agreement.

5. Review, moderation and no obligation

Publisher may reject submissions at its editorial discretion, with or without detailed reasons; selection does not guarantee use; approval does not constitute independent legal assurance of ownership. Publisher may crop, narrate, rank, remove or preserve works under the licence, subject to law. Submission does not establish employment, agency, partnership or a guarantee of future sponsorship. Contributor bears their upload bandwidth/equipment costs and shall not send unsolicited defamatory, dangerous or unlawful content.

6. Eligible revenue calculation

Eligible Video Revenue means finalized, attributable creator monetization receipts actually received by Publisher from supported platforms for a particular Qualified Video and period, net of amounts already deducted or withheld on platform statements and bona fide reversals/chargebacks. Unsupported CPM estimates, hypothetical impressions, unreceived projections, off-video promotions and unrelated Publisher receipts are excluded. Sponsorships, affiliate commissions, merchandise, third-party licensing and donations are excluded unless a separately signed schedule expressly includes them. Foreign-currency receipts are converted using an evidenced settlement rate or consistently applied documented conversion method. Where platform statements do not directly attribute receipts to a particular video, Publisher shall use a disclosed, reproducible and reasonably supported allocation method rather than unverified view counts; allocation and subsequent corrections must be itemized in statements.

7. Twenty-percent base pool; one-to-five original allocation and tier multipliers

For each Qualified Video using one to five distinct eligible Original Clips, twenty percent (20%) of Eligible Video Revenue is the BASE contributor allocation before tier multipliers. Distinct eligible Original Clips are counted once per video, even if a source is repeated, cropped, or edited into multiple segments. Each such Original Clip receives an equal BASE contribution weight of 1/N, where N is the number of distinct eligible Original Clips included (one through five), unless a separately signed clip-specific schedule discloses a different, objectively measurable editorial contribution weighting before publication. The base share per Original Clip is (20% ÷ N) of Eligible Video Revenue. Each clip’s actual attributable rate is that base share multiplied by the applicable Contributor Tier Multiplier recorded for the relevant earning period. Five distinct eligible clips therefore receive base 4% each, adjusted to 4%, 4.4%, 5%, 6%, or 8% per clip at the five tiers. If one Contributor supplies the only eligible Original Clip in a video, its attributable share is 20%, 22%, 25%, 30%, or 40%, subject to the tier, cap, period and other conditions. With two eligible originals, each starts at 10%; with three, each starts at 6.6667%; with four, each starts at 5%. If one Contributor owns multiple DISTINCT originals, each may earn its separately calculated share; repeated use of the SAME underlying original does not multiply the number of positions or its lifetime cap. This rule may apply to qualifying long-form and short-form videos of up to five distinct eligible originals. Videos using more than five eligible originals require a separately published or signed allocation schedule before contributor participation.

The combined BASE shares must equal no more than twenty percent (20%). Tier bonuses are incremental compensation funded from Publisher’s retained share, and may raise total contributor payments to as much as forty percent (40%) of Eligible Video Revenue when all qualifying clips have 2.00× multipliers; they are NOT an increase to an unbounded revenue pool. Actual payments remain subject to each Original Clip’s remaining lifetime cap and unexpired five-year window. If an Original Clip is capped, out of term, rights-ineligible, or otherwise disqualified, its unpaid allocation stays with Publisher and is not redistributed to other clips unless a signed schedule expressly provides otherwise. A noneligible segment does not qualify as an Original Clip for allocation. Where eligible footage and ineligible or Publisher-owned editorial footage coexist, a signed video-specific schedule must identify the contributor allocation and count before publication; Publisher cannot manipulate denominators post hoc solely to reduce a promised share.

8. Five-year period; tier-adjusted CAD $5,000–$10,000 original-clip cap

The five-year earnings period starts with first verified public qualifying use of each Original Clip, expires on its fifth anniversary (with the corresponding calendar-day convention), and does not shorten when a tier changes. The aggregate tier-adjusted earning CAP per underlying Original Clip is CAD $5,000 × the highest tier multiplier properly achieved by that Contributor while that Original Clip remains within its five-year earning period, up to an absolute CAD $10,000 maximum at the Legend (2.00×) tier. Caps by tier: Scout CAD $5,000; Spark CAD $5,500; Rising Star CAD $6,250; Headliner CAD $7,500; Legend CAD $10,000. The cap applies cumulatively across all edits, uses, formats, publications, channels, platforms, linked accounts and successors relating to the same underlying original. Tier advancement increases the remaining maximum possible lifetime cap prospectively but does NOT recalculate, backdate or create new earnings for periods before the promotion; tier reductions apply to future earning periods subject to documented due process and never claw back lawfully finalized amounts solely because rank changes. The applicable share multiplier for any monetization period is the contributor’s recorded eligible tier effective for that period. Royalties attributable to monetization within an unexpired term may mature and be paid afterward. Expiration and account closure do not forfeit undisputed accrued but unpaid compensation. The perpetual copyright licence survives as defined in the Licence Agreement.

9. Illustrative examples; not forecasts

ILLUSTRATION ONLY—NOT A REVENUE FORECAST. For a five-original video with CAD $1,000 in finalized Eligible Video Revenue, each of five Scout originals at 1.00× receives CAD $40 (4%) and the total base pool is CAD $200 (20%). A Legend original in the same five-original video receives CAD $80 (8%); if all five are Legends, their total is CAD $400 (40%). A single eligible original in a qualifying video receives CAD $200 at Scout (20%) or CAD $400 at Legend (40%). For two eligible original clips at Scout and Legend, respectively, their rates are 10% and 20%, for CAD $100 and CAD $200 from CAD $1,000 in eligible revenue. All examples are before the individual five-year and cumulative tier-adjusted cap and remain contingent on actual attributable receipts, documented eligibility, adjustments and mature payment conditions. No clip is guaranteed selection, monetization, revenue, promotion or payout.

10. Statements, maturity, withdrawal and settlement

After platform figures are finalized, Publisher will provide a reasonably itemized quarterly account by Qualified Video, original clip, eligible receipt, period, contribution denominator N and any disclosed weights, applicable contributor tier, base share, multiplier, calculated earnings, prior payments, adjustments and remaining tier-adjusted lifetime cap. The dashboard may also show estimated or provisional values, clearly labelled with snapshot times; such estimates are not a guarantee or immediately withdrawable funds. Publisher shall distinguish ESTIMATED, FINALIZED, MATURING, AVAILABLE and PAID states. Amounts are available for withdrawal only after Publisher has actually received relevant platform payments, reconciled records and refunds, completed reasonable tax, identity, sanctions and rights checks, met the contractually disclosed settlement/holdback requirements and deducted already-paid or pending remittances. An eligible aggregate balance of at least CAD $10 is payable in CAD within 60 days after the applicable quarter’s final statements become available, subject to those objective conditions and lawful processing holds; documented exceptional holds must be communicated with reasons where lawful. Smaller balances roll forward, and undisputed final positive balances are settled upon valid termination or expiry subject to practical lawful methods. Publisher will not impose undisclosed operating-cost deductions on Eligible Video Revenue.

11. Financial corrections; fraud; contest and audit

Credible platform reversals, fraudulent engagement, duplicate clips, erroneous source attribution, invalid rights or accounting errors may be corrected in the clip-level ledger with supporting explanation, including prospective adjustments and lawful recovery/setoff of provably overpaid amounts. Negative balances may not arbitrarily extinguish unrelated legitimate royalties. Contributors may contest a statement by emailing contact@dailyclipcountdown.com within 12 months of receipt, without restricting non-waivable rights. Publisher shall respond reasonably, supply an intelligible calculation and, subject to confidentiality and platform restrictions, an appropriate redacted revenue summary. Accounting and consent records should be preserved for at least seven years after the final relevant financial event unless lawful minimization/dispute requirements dictate another period.

12. Sanctions, identity and lawful cross-border payment

A Contributor is ineligible to receive a payment if the transfer would violate applicable Canadian, UN-implemented, payment-provider or other legally binding sanctions, including because the payee is designated, the payee acts for a restricted person, the destination jurisdiction is comprehensively blocked for that transaction, or relevant banks/payment routes are prohibited. Residence in a country that is subject to sanctions may require enhanced review and can render payment legally impossible under the particular rules, but is not automatically disqualifying in every case. The Contributor must truthfully disclose location, residence, beneficial ownership and any sanctions nexus, and shall not circumvent controls through VPN, nominees, third-party bank accounts or misrepresentation. Publisher may delay, block, segregate, report or remit funds in the manner required by law; it will not promise payment contrary to international/Canadian legal restrictions. Identity verification and appropriate tax withholding/reporting apply.

13. Copyright strikes; removal; termination and earned sums

Copyright strikes are taken seriously. Publisher may remove affected content from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and any other Publisher-controlled distribution account, disable monetization, reject all related Submissions, terminate portal access and permanently exclude a Contributor from the platform and earnings program for substantiated infringement, falsification, repeated abusive claims, or refusal to provide legally sufficient ownership proof. Publisher may withdraw other videos affected by shared unauthorized footage. A complaint alone may trigger interim suspension during fair investigation; an intentionally false complaint may be reported. Uncontested lawfully earned royalties remain subject to settlement and cannot be confiscated merely for policy enforcement, except where adjusted for invalid eligibility or recoverable loss under law.

14. Communications; updates; complaints

Program notices may be sent to the verified email associated with the account. Promotional messages require separate compliant marketing consent wherever required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation; editorial submission updates, account security, rights evidence requests and payment notices are operational communications, not automatic blanket marketing consent. Queries, privacy matters, copyright disputes and appeals: contact@dailyclipcountdown.com; clip submissions and supplied evidence: clips@dailyclipcountdown.com. Terms may be updated prospectively, with notice and fresh assent for material changes affecting existing licensed footage. Severability, Nova Scotia governing-law provisions and mandatory rights follow the Licence Agreement.

15. Publication-ready acceptance disclosures

Before submission, prominently disclose: “Selected original footage may earn a share of actual eligible video revenue received and finalized by Vyrio Media Inc. For qualifying videos using one to five distinct eligible Original Clips, the BASE contributor share is 20% of eligible revenue, divided by the number of qualifying originals unless a separately accepted weighting schedule applies. Individual shares increase according to the contributor’s tier multiplier (1.00× to 2.00×). For five qualifying originals, a clip may receive 4%–8%; for a single qualifying original, 20%–40%. Across all uses of one underlying Original Clip, the lifetime cap ranges from CAD $5,000 to a maximum of CAD $10,000 at Legend, subject to the five-year earning period. Earnings estimates are not guaranteed or automatically eligible for withdrawal. The non-exclusive worldwide commercial footage licence continues after the earnings window.”

Require independent, unchecked affirmations: (1) contributor is at least 18; (2) contributor personally filmed and owns the footage or holds all documented commercial licensing and redistribution rights and relevant releases; (3) contributor grants the licence under the current approved Contributor Footage Licence Agreement; (4) contributor understands base 20% allocation, number-of-originals weighting, all tier multipliers, the five-year period, the cumulative tier-dependent CAD $5,000–$10,000 cap and that earnings may be zero; (5) contributor acknowledges the Privacy Policy; (6) contributor accepts these current Submission Terms & Earnings Rules. Issue acceptance receipts identifying each version, file hash, timestamp and links to read and download retained copies. New financial rules must not be applied to existing licenses without legally valid notice and affirmative acceptance where required.

16. Contributor tiers, qualifying achievements and rank governance

The Contributor Rewards Program recognizes contributors who consistently provide verified, rights-cleared original footage suitable for editorial reuse. Only distinct Original Clips that pass all required integrity, malware and rights reviews count as “approved uploads.” A “used original” is a distinct Original Clip actually incorporated in a publicly released Qualified Video, not merely selected, previewed or uploaded. Re-edits and duplicate accounts do not create additional counts. This program rewards quality and proven usage, not simply file volume.

In addition to numerical thresholds, all tiers above Scout require verified email, a completed legal/rights profile, acknowledgements of current terms, successful completion of Publisher-provided copyright and source-verification guidance, and no unresolved material fraud or ownership determination. Headliner and Legend may also require a documented sustained compliance review, with written notice, reasonable opportunity to respond and an appeal channel. Tier qualification is calculated solely from objective, auditable platform records and published criteria. Subscriber counts, YouTube subscriptions, likes and other external engagement actions may be optional commemorative achievements, but do not by themselves determine compensation or require contributors to manipulate platform engagement. Publisher may reasonably audit, suspend or correct status obtained by duplication, fraud or invalid rights; earned and finalized royalties are not forfeited merely because a tier is corrected. Tier changes, effective dates, calculations, reasons and appeals must be recorded.

17. Determining attributable portions and avoiding double counting

When a video uses qualifying footage from 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 distinct original clips, the default equal-original allocation denominator is respectively N = 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. A Contributor who supplied multiple distinct originals receives the sum of the shares attributable to those distinct recordings. Editorial segment length, number of appearances or prominence do not automatically alter the default equal-original allocation. An alternative weighting based on objectively evidenced footage duration, prominence or other defined factors requires a published, clip-specific agreed schedule identifying all weights and rounding conventions BEFORE the relevant use. Rounding is made to CAD cents using a reproducible largest-remainder procedure or equivalent documented method; total paid and accrued shares never exceed their approved calculated aggregate or individual cap. Revenue from unrelated videos cannot be assigned to a contributor without a traceable attribution basis.

18. Tier snapshots, corrections and prospective changes

Publisher shall retain an immutable evidence trail of each Contributor’s verified tier and eligible counts as of each earnings calculation period. Promotion is prospective from its effective recorded date, not retroactive to older monetization periods. No reduction may retroactively remove finalized lawful compensation. Estimated values may fluctuate when platform receipts are corrected, refunds occur or rights become disputed, subject to the review and appeals rules in these Terms. Publisher may amend future requirements with clear advance notice and legally sufficient renewed consent for material monetary changes; previous contribution grants and accrued rights remain governed by the versions validly accepted for those uses. The Publisher shall not apply this draft version until legal review, internal implementation and publication have occurred.
